Staff
All staff are background screened with local and state agencies and are mandated child abuse/neglect reporters.

All staff complete YMCA of the USA and DCF code of conduct and affidavit of good moral character requirements.
All staff are required to take 45 hour state mandatory classes/exams and must complete in-service hours each year.
Many of The South County Family YMCA child care staff hold varied qualifications and certifications including:
- Florida Director Credential certification.
- CPR and first aid certification.
- CDA certification.
- CDL certification with the DMV.
- Climbing/Rock wall certification.
- Lifeguard certification.
Staff must be at least eighteen years of age or previously approved.
All staff have a commitment to working with children and adults from a variety of backgrounds.
