Venice YMCA Youth Soccer
Fall 2008 Season (Sept. 13th - Nov. 15th)

The Venice YMCA Youth Soccer program is for children ages 4 to 11 years. Children are placed on teams which practice one weeknight per week and play games on Saturday mornings. Children of all skill levels are welcomed.
This season our program is conducted at The Venice Middle School Athletic Fields, a five minute drive east on Center Road from the YMCA. All practices and all games occur there.
Divisions
We have co-ed divisions for children ages 4 – 11 years, as follows:
Rookie (4 and 5 years old)
Juggler (6-8 years old)
Striker (9-11 years old)
Children receive a team jersey and soccer socks. They will be required to wear shin guards and socks must cover shin guards. Cleats are optional.
Registration and Fees
Registration begins July 21st, 2008; ends Sept 6th, 2008. Late fee of $25 added afterSept 6th.
$55 for members and $75 for non-members.
Scholarships are available, everyone plays!

Schedule
Saturday, Sept.13th at Venice Middle School - Skills test for team placement-
Juggler (6-8 years old) 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Striker (9-11 years old) 10:15 - 11:15 AM
Practices begin the week of Sept. 15th.
Saturday, Sept. 27th - Games begin; season ends Nov. 15th.
Nov. 15th - final games, team and individual awards.
Volunteer coaches and officials are needed for the success of this program. Mandatory coaches/volunteer meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the YMCA Youth Center.
