IronStrong Performance Training in Englewood IronStrong was developed to enhance the level of competition in the local athletic arena, allowing more athletes to fulfill their potential and giving them the opportunity to perform at the collegiate, and perhaps the professional level. We are bringing performance training and sports nutrition – the same programs and systems elite athletes are using – to serious athletes of all ages and of all sports in Sarasota and Charlotte Counties. We offer private, one-on-one performance training, group training of no more than 5 athletes, team training, speed and agility development camps, Nike SPARQ Ratings, and athletic scholarship promotion services. We train athletes in a variety of sports at any level, including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, fast pitch softball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, MMA, and even golf. We are not coaches. We do not teach athletes how to catch a football or how to shoot a basketball. Instead, we give athletes the athleticism – meaning speed, power, agility, reaction, quickness, explosiveness, balance, flexibility, mechanics, and technique – to dominate on the field, court, concrete, or clay. We use highly tested, scientifically proven performance training systems designed to take our athletes to a level most didn’t think possible. But, as advocates of the Atlas & Athena Anti-Steroid Program, we are also working to turn all athletes away from performance enhancing drugs to cleanse competition and keep our athletes true and safe. Each one of our trainers is an athlete, some still competing. We know how to prepare our athletes for the game, but more importantly we know what it takes to make it to the next level because we’ve been there. All of our trainers are not only expected to pass a national standard through the fulfillment of recognized certifications and degrees, but they are also required to meet an Ironstrong standard, consisting of various testing and training.
