Cancer Rehabilitation
The South County Family YMCA will begin offering an on-going cancer rehabilitation program in spring of 2007.
The holistic program will include comprehensive exercise training and dietary counseling, educational sessions, emphasis on the mind/body connection, a support group and consistant monitoring of metabolic rate, energy balance, cholesterol and body fat.
The program is suitable for those preparing to undergo cancer treatment, are currently undergoing cancer treatments and those who are in remission.
