Nutrition Services
Nutrition education sessions are offered as part of many of our Medically-Based Wellness programs. Individual appointments and regular group sessions with our certified nutrition educator and Registered Dietitian are an integral part of the weight loss, arthritis and diabetes rehabilitation programs and can be added into cardiac rehab as needed.

Our certified nutrition educator is available for individual sessions. Fees are as follows:
1 Consultations: $40.00
5 Consultations: $190.00
10 Consultations: $360.00
Youth Rate (12-18 years): $35.00 per consultation.

Open Forums:
The nutrion educator and dietitian will be available to answer questions and discuss nutritional issues and concerns with our general membership in regular open forums. Check bulletins and postings for dates and times.
Our nutrition educator, Terri Burks, is a former nurse, a YMCA fitness instructor and certified sports nutritionist with an extensive nutrition background. All Terri's educational materials and outlines as well as any recommendations she might make are pre-approved by our staff registered dietitians.
Spirit - Mind - Body University classes
Twice per year the YMCA holds Spirit - Mind - Body University. A weekly nutritional lecture is part of the series. Look for series' schedules in October and February.
